- Our Certification -

Some Things Aren’t Meant to Be Loud

We started Solenne because we were tired of jewelry that tries too hard.

The pieces that actually stay with you, the ones you never take off, the ones you reach for without thinking, these aren’t the flashiest in the room. They’re the ones that feel like you. Silver that catches the light just right. A stone you chose because it meant something, not because it was the biggest one available. That’s what we set out to make. Nothing shouted.

Nothing borrowed from trends that’ll feel dated in a year. Just pieces built with real materials and real care, meant to become part of someone’s everyday, not just their special occasions. If you’re looking for jewelry that says something quietly, you’re in the right place.

- Our Craft -

Real Materials. Real Certainty.

Every piece starts with the same standard: sterling silver, gold vermeil, or 18k gold, chosen for how it wears, not just how it looks. And because trust matters as much as beauty, every 18k gold piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity. Every colored gemstone is either certified by us directly or verified by the Gem Labs of Monaco. Diamonds and moissanite follow a different standard, see below..

Nothing you wear from Solenné is a guess.

- Diamond & Moissanite Certification -

Certified Stone by Stone

Lab grown diamonds and moissanite are the two stones where exact grading matters most, so they’re the two we send out for it. Every lab grown diamond and every moissanite in a Solenné piece is independently graded and certified by GIA, the same standard used industry-wide for cut, clarity, and carat weight.

This is separate from our gold certificates and separate from our Gem Lab of Monaco attestations for colored gemstones. Each material gets the certification that actually applies to it, nothing generic, nothing assumed.

- Hallmarks -

Real Materials. Real Certainty.

A hallmark is the maker’s signature on precious metal: a small stamped or lasered mark that identifies who made the piece and confirms the quality of the metal underneath it. In France, that mark is applied with a registered steel punch carrying a legally protected symbol from a French assay office, traditionally shaped like a small ellipse. Trade in precious metals here is strictly regulated: metal without a proper hallmark is treated as unverified, no matter where it was bought.

Every Solenné piece in 925 silver or 18k gold carries its hallmark proof, not just a promise.

Four Collections. One Woman.

Amethyst is where Solenne began, and it’s still the stone we’re known for. But her story doesn’t stop at one gem. Each collection was made for a different chapter and one, for the person choosing on her behalf.

Frequently Asked Questions - Certificate & Hallmark

What is a hallmark, and why does Solenné jewelry have one?

;
:

A hallmark is a stamped or lasered mark that identifies the maker of a piece and verifies the quality of the precious metal used. Every Solenné piece in 925 silver or 18k gold carries one, applied to the legally protected standard used in France, so the metal’s origin and purity can always be traced back to us.

Why does the origin of silver matter?

;
:

Not all silver marked “925” has actually been verified. Low-cost jewelry, especially sourced from outside Europe where checks are less strict, is sometimes stamped with a 925 mark without ever being confirmed by an independent hallmark or test and in the worst cases, it isn’t silver at all, just a plated base metal. Solenné’s silver is sourced and hallmarked to European standard, so what’s stamped on the piece matches what’s actually in it.

Does Solenné jewelry contain nickel?

;
:

No. Solenné doesn’t use nickel in any of our silver. Nickel is the most common cause of jewelry-related skin reactions, but it’s usually hiding in unrefined “silver” under a rhodium or fine-silver plating rather than in genuine 925 silver, which rarely causes a reaction on its own.

What's the difference between a hallmark and a certificate of authenticity?

;
:

A hallmark is stamped directly into the metal and confirms the precious metal itself. A certificate is a separate document that identifies the specific piece and its materials in writing. Solenné provides both: the hallmark as physical proof on the jewelry, and a certificate as paperwork you can keep, insure, or resell against.

Are Solenné's diamonds natural or lab-grown?

;
:

Solenné’s diamonds are lab-grown. Each one is independently graded and certified by GIA using their Laboratory-Grown Diamond Report, the same grading standard GIA applies to cut, clarity, and carat weight for natural stones.

How are Solenné's colored gemstones certified?

;
:

Colored gemstones are either certified directly by Solenné or, for pieces sourced through our partners, verified by the Gem Labs of Monaco. This is separate from the GIA certification used for diamonds and moissanite, since each stone type is graded to the standard that actually applies to it.

What certification do Solenné's 18k gold pieces come with?

;
:

Every 18k gold piece ships with its own Solenné certificate of authenticity confirming the gold content and karat weight, backed by the hallmark stamped into the metal itself.
